Guys,
I just want a simple answer. Both my disks are warped and i need a replacement pair, i've done a search for threads but they've been inconclusive, so i'd want a straight and simple answer.
Does anybody here use EBC Pro-Lite disks, and what are they like for performance and wear? I use EBC organic compound brake pads front and rear and would want to mate them to something appropriate. OEM is NOT an option because i need to use the bike soon, and OEM parts will take 2 weeks to arrive, plus they're more expensive.
Any suggestions and experiences will be really helpful. ____________________ The Tot 2007 Yamaha R1 4C8 2002 Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer &

Cheers for the replies. I'll see what they're like compared as i'll be on a 250 and doubt i'll use the brakes heavily anyway. As long as i'll get the bike running well enough to pass its MOT and decent enough so that the next owner will not need the bother. ____________________ The Tot 2007 Yamaha R1 4C8 2002 Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer &

Your 250 probably isn't too far off the weight of a modern 600 and if so, will take as much force to stop either from 100 - though may take you a bit longer to get back up there again .
I've had them on my ZX9 which was a race bike and I've ridden at a track day; no problems. I've used carbone Loraine pads with them and they've worked well.
Presume there aren't any you can get on ebay or breakers (ie do other more common models work?) |

Nah G, i've tried finding some off e-bay and breakers. Mechanic's also tried BAT motorcycles and they seemd to rip an arm and a bollock off for the price.
Sickpup's just PM'd me with a suggestion too.
Twiggers have tried putting on alternative disks, dimensionally similar, only to find each disk had an 8mm offset which meant they were touching the fork legs.
So the ONLY place i can find it for, other than Japan, is EBC, which lists a model specific part for my bike , ain't compatible with the ZXR400 or 750.
I'll see how it goes,
as long as i get a pair delivered and MOT'd before friday 15th, i'm a happy Christmas child, shame the same can't be said for my bank balance! ____________________ The Tot 2007 Yamaha R1 4C8 2002 Yamaha FZS1000 Fazer &
