Right, my brother has a TS125, which kind of, has problems. mainly the clutch as in when it starts and you go to set off, it dies.

now, it will only successfully launch if you are really hitting the revs or if it is definatly in neutral but the gears lever is sooo slack you can't really tell and, basically, it feckin' annoys the neighbours, so,

how do you sort the clutch out from inside the engine, i.e, taking it apart (it is an 18 yr old, TS125X(R?) and adjusting it or getting a new clutch, how would i acheive any of this? not scared of getting my hands dirty and a saturday afternoon(or week-end in general come to think of it)....

pleeease help me..

soz 'bout long post, but need to sort it Sad Confused

Ta in advance.

*EDITED title for usefulness & efficiency!
Steve.

This month's pet hate - not having a useful thread title would have been a better thing to apologise for Razz.

Anyway; the probability is the clutch is just a little seized. Had this on my CRM125.
I just held the clutch in with the front brake on and revved it quite a bit as I dropped it into gear. Make sure you keep the front brake on and clutch in.
If you're worried about doing it, start at low revs and keep repeating the procedure with more revs until it frees up.

Good call that Irving, check the basket for grooves, and the hub too.
