Depends if you like FZR's. The bike looks ok but FZR's have a soulless electric motor pretending to be a petrol engine. For the money I'd rather have a CBR or GSXR, but that's just me.

edit** From the pics it looks to be an 88/89 model regardless of the reg number. Nothing unusual but does make it less of a bargain.

For some reason i prefer the looks of the FZR, dunno why, probably because they are quite rare i guess. I know a fair few people with zxr/cbr/vfr but none with a FZR.

i like it mate but im bias when it comes to older yammys.

seems a fair price and low miles for its age.

i'd do a full HPI first though.

If it's the right bike in terms of condition etc, and you like it then that's fine. Seeing a bike that old still original is a rare thing for sure. They are reliable enough, i just disliked the engine characterisitics on the one i rode....you don't feel it come on cam, it just builds revs and the next thing you know is it's clattering off the rev limiter.

Mine is also a Uk spec with 16k miles bike but I bought it privatly, it has a few scuffs and less MOT then the one your looking at so they probably balance out about the same.
