Hi,i built this ns125r l form a box of bits, the engine was running so i just painted the frame, laquer`d it,same with the panels and faring, all the decals are hand mede buy me.i had to replace the back wheel because someone had been riding it while the barings were eating the hub Clapping there was no screen with the bike, and i sourced all the parts via ebay.
i just need to get it running smooth now lol !

something wrong with the rear end, you're going to have all sorts of chain and suspension problems with it jacked up like that

Aye it's riding tall is that one. Must be jacked up 5 or 6 inches.

You've done well there if you've only spent £50. I've spent nearly £300 so far doing my NS125F and I'm still stripping it down. Plus it needs an engine rebuild as well.

Dilusi, wouldn't you be better off getting a different bike, you're gunna spend more than it's worth.
You can blatantly see where the black has been painted over the original Honda sticker, but it actually gives a rather nice effect.
It looks in great nick too. Thumbs Up

This all depends on how you look at it, and what kind of budget you have to work with.

My KMX200 had some good points when i brought it for £600. These were: that it had only 3 owners from new, and alot of history and documentation including the dealer PDI form etc.
The second good point is that it was all complete, and the engine and frame numbers all matched up too.

Otherwise it was a running but almost wreaked bike. The engine blew up soon after i got it, and the suspension was knackered, the plastics and cosmetics were very tatty too. I could have fixed the motor and the rear suspension, and then sold it for what i had paid again, but i was not confident of finding another non stolen, or non crashed or road legal KMX200 again.

Im re-building it again now slowly and im prepared to spend at least £1500 on it, as the way i see it is that i want to end up with a bike that looks like the new Yamaha DT125X supermoto, and one that will out perform it too. One of these brand new would be over £2500 to buy, so until i have spent that much on my bike in total then im still better off than shelling out on a new Yamaha anyway!

Spent too much time and money already but TBH I don't really mind. I brought it to rebuild as a hobby. Even if I buy everything new I'll still only spend about £600. If I get a couple of years use out of it before I sell then I shouldn't be too much out of pocket.

Roadworthy 125's in good nick will fetch £400-500 all day.
