Ok - crazy people seem to be attracted to me.

I was riding home yesterday about 3.30pm down what is basically a busy high street. There is enough room to filter but I don't because this road is so dangerous - crazy drivers everywhere!

So there I am in a line of traffic, doing about 10mph with a good gap to the car in front. On the other side of the road the traffic is stationary. All of a sudden this woman steps out from behind a van in the queue. She wasn't even looking at me - I had about 5 foot to stop in. Slammed the brakes on - don't think I've ever stopped so quickly. Of course then as I stop I haven't got my foot down and almost drop the bike. As you can imagine, I'm not happy and started shouting at her.

She turns and looks at me, then shouts "Road rage, help I'm being attacked - officer, officer". Now I'm confused - looked over my shoulder to see a cop stood on the pavement. He wanders over to us and asks me to move the bike to the side of the road.

He asks her to describe exactly what happened - apparently I was diving in and out of cars and then she had to dive out of the way before I started to abuse her." Bullshit" says the cop, " I saw everything - you stepped out in front of this guy" he then proceded to give her a 5 minute road safety lecture.

Having sent her on his way he turned to me. Commented on riding in the extreme weather - I replied about commuting to work. At which point he replies "yeah I know what you mean - I use my GPZ500 everyday for getting to work" - bonus, another biker. Had a 5 minute chat with him at the side of the road. He had a Gixxer for his summer toy - he was telling me his opinions on tinted visors - and how they should be allowed!!! Gotta say he was a thouroughly nice chap.

Dave

That's excellent news mate.

I was filtering down the road just of my village, and it comes to a cornering small hill(bets I can describe it as) so you can't see over the top. I slowed down to about 5MPH to check slowly if I could see over the small hill and then ocntinue filtering. No cars about, so I continue to filter and then I see a car coming my way so I pull in to let her/him through.

The dirver braked harshly because some stupid woman had pulled out before the hill to skip traffic. Her excuse? "I threatened her and intimidated her".She also said that overtaking slow moving traffic on my bike is illegal. LOL. And she pulled out to tell me off. Laughing
