Policeman booked for illegal parking

A policeman has been booked for parking illegally in south Wales as he sat in a van trying to catch speeding motorists.

The Pc employed by Gwent Police was given a £30 fine for parking on a single yellow line at Cwm, Ebbw Vale, by an officer from his own force.

The detector van is jointly operated by the Gwent and South Wales forces.

Assistant Chief Constable Bill Horse, of Gwent Police, said: "We can confirm that the driver of a Mid and South Wales Area Safety Camera Partnership vehicle was recently issued with a fixed penalty notice."

At least some justice in the world. Pity they didnt wheel clamp the van, or tow it away

Oh yeah, i see it now.
I read bout that in the paper today. Apparently it was one of the officers suoeriors that ticketed him and gave him a bollocking while he was at it too.
Apparantly, they reckon that ppl caught by him will be able to get off with it if they go to court.
