8) 8) 8) 8) 8) Nice one Mole, guess I'll be all jealous now....

Seriously though, get 'em to put new spark-plugs in...they will cost a fair bit if you have to fork out for em. They're about a tenner per plug plus 'REALLY' labour intensive to get at so I've heard.

Good luck with it.
See you at boxhill soon Wink

Well the damage wasn't as bad as it looked - the forks were fine, just the yokes had twisted. I stripped it two weeks after the accident and it's been in various states of undress ever since.

The rear sub frame was bent, but I scored a new one for £60 which is now ready to fit (I took the opportunity to give it a mental cleaning session as well as a lot of mechanical tlc). The front wheel isn't that bad, it holds air fine but a slight buckle (and that big ol' chip in it) means I'm going to replace it.

The rest of the damage was plastics, so I've bought a whole new set (£446) even though only two panels are mashed (going to glue/gaffa tape the old set and keep them for trackdays). When it's rebuilt it will have a proper single seat rear, no pillion pegs or any of that business. As for the paintjob Dream Machine have quoted me £850 to pick up the bike, do the painting etc and deliver it back to me.

I'm also doing a few bits while it's stripped, such as fitting the braided hoses I had lying around for ages and setting up the rear shock properly, but hopefully I'll have it back on the road by the end of May, might take a bit longer to get it painted though.

After that I'm going to sell my nsr and spend the money on getting the rvf to 70bhp, changing the front calipers for crazy 6 pot nissin ones, and possibly some other tart-em-up's.

Hey Korn, while your at it you should go the whole hog.

Dymag wheels, PFM brakes(them iron disks look very sexy), ohlins suspension, carbon fibre bodywork - the works.

Might cost a coupla quid tho....
