im going in the army in september and i'll be 17 in october i really like the nsr125 but i'll be doin my full test so i can ride a 33bhp bike any way so wat should it be the nsr or a more powerful bike restircted? plus ive got a moped at the mo and im fed up of sounding like a lawnmower do the the nsr's sound any good?god im so confused!!

if your going in the army isnt there a course or something they give for most licence's?


i remember when my bro came back from his tour in the army he could drive(and ride) everything upto a HGV and only took him 3 weeks to complete?

Yea there is, in the same case as ur bro i'll have a full motorcycle and car licence. thats why i dnt no if i should get the NSR or a more powerful bike restricted to 33bhp power wat u think?

NSR is alot of fun and if you get a bike restricted to 33bhp it really depends on what you get because you'll be dragging alot more weight than if the engine was full power, making it a little slower and sluggish.

If you have the money i'd get the NSR, keep that for a year or two then trade it in for something like a VFR.

if you dont have that much money then by all means get a bigger bike now and restrict just be prepared for it to perform alot less than normal

I would say "let the insurance decide"...if you can find the bike that you want AND afford to insure it, then go for it!
