Serial Killer murders 5 prostitutes in Ipswich!

A third woman has been found dead near Ipswich today. Police haven't yet linked it to the two murdered prostitues, but chances are it's the same killer.

People quite often talk of the nanny state restricting our rights, and so much surveilance preventing us from getting away with anything these days... how long can a serial killer go uncaught for?

Must be quite a frightening time for those in the unfortunate position where they have little or no choice but to work the streets.

Also, could be related but doubt it, there was 3 people shot and 1 person stabbed in the town on Friday night in a night club, might be there pimp or something getting revenge on someone who they thought it was. The one who was stabbed died and the others are injured in hospital.

We've just been talking about this at work, and I mentioned the fact that there's no sign of sexual abuse or activity prior to their murders.

My boss then responded with "That's disgraceful. He could at least make the most of them first..." Confused

I replied "I guess he doesn't mix business with pleasure."

On a serious note, considering the shady nature of prostitution, and the fact that this guy doesn't appear to leave any traces, how can they solve the case?

I don't know what you're scared about. Unless you're a female prostitute working in Ipswich you're probably safe as houses.

With the increased interest from the police at the moment, I can't imagine things getting any worse until it dies down again?
Or is the sort of person deranged enough to do this in the first place also stupid enough to continue killing until caught?

I live near John2 and i heard it on the news last night, it didnt really click last nite about where it was found, then i rode past there this morning Confused

Im not really worried but it is still slighty disconcerting. Just rode past again on way home and theres an itv van, so i assume it going to be on there at 6.30pm.
IMHO, i wouldnt be suprised if the fourth is dead.

Ok, me and a colleague have been talking and I think we're onto something.

Going by all the films we've seen the suspect in question is going to be a really intelligent guy that nobody would expect, who only shops once a week just to pick up his copy of Beano or Dandy. Typically he'll be wearing a tweed jacket and might possibly be a bomb expert, usually an ex copper who got bored and disgruntled in retirement because they gave him a crappy gift or left him feeling unappreciated.

I quite like stuff like this, keep the news interesting instead boring us with the usual drivel they spout.

I've not much sympathy tbh. Not in all cases, but most have brought that lifestyle onto themselves and most could change it if they really wanted to.
