Just been out to deliver some bits and pieces. Then I was riding towards a temporary set of traffic lights. which changed to amber, so being a good boy I stopped. From the sqealing of tyres and the stench of rubber from behind me I think its safe to say that the Mondeo driving moron assumed, firstly that I was going to jump the lights and, secondly had every intention of doing the same.
He stopped about 2mm away from my back tyre.

I dread to think of what would have happend if he had not managed to stop.

Oh well Shocked

Thanks.

As far as amber lights go you should stop if it safe to do so. In this instance it was. Its one of those instant decisions we all need to make. The Mondeo would have gone through at red and I went back and looked at the skid marks and they were about 40 metres long.

Stupid cunt.

Glad your OK.

I had something similar to this, although I was the person who had to screech to a stop.

I had only been riding my bike a day or two, and was at the stage where if I didn't have to stop it was easier.

Set of lights on green, sped up slightly to go through. Were changin to Amber as the Car in front got to them, but he went through. But then stopped in the middle of the cross roads.

I had to stop rather rapidly, good thing was that I stopped in time, and didn't hit him.

I now know that if the car in front goes through, even if its just changed to amber I stop. Car drivers are so unpredictable.
