how exactly do they work anyway? do they come with a mph decal or something?

dont understand how they tell you what mph your doing.

Its just a 5:8 mechcanical gear ratio. The kph readings on your dial are now mph. Had one 4 ages, there damn good, though never tested accuracy.

They are simply a calibrated reduction gear that coverts the
existing Kph scale to read in Mph.

You use the existing Kph markings and read them as Mph.

I Imagine the range 0-140 Mph would be a bit cramped but
the advantage of using the reduction drive is that the odometer
will now record milage and not Kilometers!
