Mr. Green

Exactly the same as this;

https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v601/carlosfandango/monoposto.jpg

I was in the dealers earlier looking at various machines with my Dad, he wanted to hear a multistrada but it had a flat battery, so we we fired up a demonstrator 06 Ducati Sport 1000 Monoposto with a pair of Termignoni pipes.

The sound just melted my insides. It felt like I had a bass speaker in my chest, or an alien trying to burst out. In that moment I lost all my sensibility and made them an offer for it. I think I have to have it, as long as the test ride works out OK and I can get £2K off the list price. Very Happy

Have you ordered Crazy Frog racing goggles to go with it?

Looks like it'd be agony after 10miles.

Much like a R6/Gixxer 750/Benelli tornado etc etc etc etc.

It aint a commuter or tourer, it's a pure statement of motorcycling passion. Just right for popping to the coast for a cuppa at the cafe and then trotting off home. 100 mile round trip will just about do, spread across the afternoon on a sunny bright summers day, the rest of the time I'll just look at it and wax it Very Happy

Someone buy my firestorm please. Very Happy

very, very nice Thumbs Up

IMO one of the most gorgeous bikes out there at the moment. Still, I sat on one at the milan show and the riding position is insane, better budget for a good chiropractor also Razz

I wish I could afford 2 bikes!

Bastard!!!!!!!!

Enjoy it mate. Buying that is like giving the 2 fingered salute to every person who buys the safe bet every time (i.e. the BMW 3-series driver of the motorcycle world)

Not that I've got anything against playing it safe. Its just that sometimes its nice to know we don't live in a uniformed, hitler/stalin like society.

Hope you get it and enjoy it! Thumbs Up

Out of the sport classic models that Ducati has introduced, this one is definately my favorite. Plastic's for Knobbies (ie Paul Smart model) and the Multistrada's for geezers. I've always had a soft spot for unfaired "cafe" bikes. Enjoy M8.
