A question about poo.

Lately I've been eating lots of Oreos. Like, going through two packs a day.

My poo has now turned Oreo biscuit colour. Do you think this might be why? I thought stuff like that only worked with urine. Or does near-black poo mean a shit diet?

Hope you can help. I'm eating custard creams to try and balance it out.

Try eating a variety of crayons untill you get the right blend for the poo colour of your choice. Works wonders for me

I don't think it's anything serious like blood... nothing hurts and my main diet recently has consisted of mashed potato and toast which as far as i'm aware doesn't have too much iron in, and I don't take any supplements of any kind.

It's not stinky poo either, just extremely dark.

Oh no wait a sec!

I have lately been drinking these Up & Go cartons which are liquid breakfast things but I drink them all the time. There's no mention of iron though, just alot of ingredients I'm unfamiliar with.

They're high in protein but I don't think this would make a difference?

Said stools come quite infrequently though. Hmm.

to be honest, potato, toast and breakfast drinks doesn't sound like a very healthy diet, you aren't going to get any amino acids from that (maybe a few), you need to eat fruit and veg for them, your body doesn't function properly without them, considering it can't make proteins without them,

could just be your bodies way of telling you to eat better?
