Very high maintenance as its a race spec bike, nice bikes though, I used to have one and they are pretty nice, going back to a newer WR in 07 so I think pretty highly of WR's Cool

If you get one, just make sure you keep up with regular oil and filter changes etc etc

How regular is regular? Like every 50 miles, or every 500 miles?

Top end rebuilds every 1000 or so then?

Nips. They're pretty! Embarassed

Had a feeling you might say that.

My theory being, If I buy a good bike, it'll be harder to fall off.

Still won't make up for my horrendous off road skills. Wink

Besides, blue wr's beat yellow drz'zzz..

Thumbs Up

Or you fall off faster Neutral.

Broke a bit off my shoulder a couple of weekends ago on the first outing with my husaberg 501.
It definitely made some stuff a lot easier - the hills korn and ste were having to keep the revs up and be in the right for on their XR250s, I could just open the throttle up, wherever.
Similarly with gullies on hard ground I could just open up the throttle to get the front end light, while they were having to take it slower and put more effort in.

However this was my ultimate downfall as I was going faster later in the day - there was a tricky double-gully that had a lower raised bit in between the two gullies. Earlier I had just been getting the front up again, but a bit more tired while going faster meant that by the time the rear came down there wasn't time to get the front up - it dug in and I went over the front.

Crashed on and off road bikes before, but first time I've broken anything, though sure I still could have achieved it on my CRM125 if I'd been trying Smile.

wr's are a great bike, ive just sold me tenth ish one recently Crying or Very sad , pics on here still.... the wr is the enduro spec so not too bad maintanance, the yz is the full on crosser, just do oil and filter every few rides and valve checks. only take around a litre and half of oil so cheap to service. there a good bike if looked after and quick aswell.. i love them.... Very Happy
