FAILED. Crying or Very sad
Got a re-test on the 30th.
I was to Hesitant on a round-about apparently.
As soon as i Got on the bike the heavens opened up and pissed on me.
Got to this round about at around 3pm school kids everywhere and fast traffic so i thought rather than chance a little gap havin to hammer it to get out ill wait for a better space,i was actually thinking of my own safety.
but he failed me for it.
Oh well try again on the 30th.

Never mind mate, reckon luck plays a big part in driving tests..

You going to do a few more lessons before you re-take? Shouldn't think you need to if he failed you for hessitating..

Better luck for next time phil

Nah not gonna bother with any lessons before,
my retest is at 11:30am so hopefully not as much traffic or kids.
i am picking up the cb500 at 8:30am and using the time before to get re-
aquainted with the bike, practising u-turns & e-stops.
and if i fail again i will just keep on re-testing till i pass.

Apparently 11.30 is one of the best times to do the test...is the 30th the earliest that you can retake?...is there a minimum 3 week wait, like the driving test?

yeah 3 weeks before re-take just like a car.

Not fussed really i may sell it, or keep it untill my compo comes from an accident i had at work, then trade it in against a brand new CBR600. Very Happy
i am not in a rush to get rid of it so i will wait to see what happens on the 30th.
i will see how i feel after i PASS.
maybe go for an NC30.

DIRECT ACCESS.
if you are over 21 with a car licence you can do your bike test on a 500cc
motorcycle (or anything over 46bhp). then you can ride any bike size.
they call it DAS.

Not again M8 Sad
you can pick up a cheap car for under £500.
why not have both ? then run the car in winter and the bike in summer.
you might be able to get insurance for 6months for each.?
you can definatly get 6months tax on them.
Just buy a shitty little low insurance group car.

I could do that i guess rob, but id rarther get a better price for my bike now than to get it full of salt in the winter.

I thought about doing that phil, but i want to take a holiday and see my brother as well so i think my best option to sell my bike. Then come back and get a good reliable car. Hope to be back on a bike spring next year.

Maybe by then insurance wont be too much of a rip off..Christ what am i sayin course it will.. Evil or Very Mad

Havnin really thought about it too much...I'm thinkin about £3,800 @ 4.5k Miles.

Had it dynojetted, K&N'd and its had BT010's just put on it and thats just the things i've done to it, theres the single seat cowl, lower fairings, full micron system (Inc origional) and a double bubble screen.

I'm in no rush to sell so i can try and get the best price for it. Its only may though i've got another 2 month to go on it..anythin could happen in 2 months (god forbid)
