Nah, nowt to be jealous of mate, i like them Yamaha Kits big time. Shit, for 12 years i just had a 5 peice old Rogers kit. Did gigs with it and all sorts. Its down to the player, not the kit to be honest. Im still as shit with this new kit as i was with me old one Laughing

Laughing With experience comes age and all that!

My Yamaha's a Stage Custom Standard. Evans Hydraulic skins all round apart from the snare which has got an Evans Genera Dry

Ok i lied, i'm not THAT jealous of your kit because i've tuned mine to perfection Very Happy

The snare's got a beautiful crisp attack with the shortest decay you've ever heard makes great playing for ghost notes and all of that.

My Iron Cobra pedal is my baby though, it's the powerglide and i can hammer away pretty fast now, i'm not sure how fast i'm going.

What kinda music d'you play then?

Im an old fart mate, play mostly proper punk and the likes. Stuff like old Oi to. Kinda want to move away from it a bit to be honest as my drumming has stuck in that rut. Ive decided at 39 i wanna play drums proper Laughing

Hey just this excuse:

"I've just got a slow learning curve, fuck off Very Happy"

I've been playing for a while, recently done a project with a mate whose shit hot at recording etc so set it all up. He's the guitar and bass (skillfull bastard) and i'm the drums and our friend's the vocals.

I'll post it up when he finally finishes mixing and mastering the CD. Probably not your kind of music but you might like it. It's very heavy, fast and generally crazy Thumbs Up

Shouldn't be TOO long now.
