I have handlebar muff, but wanted some handguard on my W650, cause they look nice. I searched them on google. (We call it knuckle guard in japan. don't know why.) I thought genuine option of offroad bikes would be easier than acerbis type(fixing on both bar end and handlebar). I checked some of them.
Honda XR250 option

Suzuki Skywave(Burgman)400 option

Kawasaki Supersherpa option

Suzuki ones seemed to have best wind protection, but XR250 ones seemed to have both nice wind protection and easy attachableness.
I ordered XR250 option at Honda shop.

It took 3 hours doing try and error. I wanted to attach with bolt and nuts on pivot of brake and clutch levers, but they didn't fit so I used cable ties and metal plate extension.
I went out for a test ride.
I've already had heated grips. They worked well together. I'm expecting rain protection too.
