Im buying 1 of these of a m8 in mint cond with 15k on it (1989)model
unfaired. Its still restricted but i read some where on the old site about an exhaust restricter,air box and a BOLT on the side of the barrel.
Could u explain if this is true & what will need doing to derestrict it eg bigger jets with exhaust etc. (its already got a micron system on but nothing else). any ideas on top speed or tuning.

AFAIK the main restrictor was in the exhaust. If it's got a Micron can on it won't be there.
Mine, with a standard derestricted can, did about 85, or just nudging 90 by laying completly flat along it!
