Funniest thing

I was just heading home from a game of soccer and pulled up at a main set of traffic lights and was in the middle lane to go straight ahead.
As per nommal the lane to my right got a green arrow to go before I get my green.
However instead of the traffic moving off it just sat there.
After a few seconds I look back over my shoulder to see the car at the front just sitting there with the young female driver oblivious to the green, instead prefering to send a text message on her phone.
Then I thought it strange that the car behind hadn't honked the horn to notify her of the green light and to move off.
Funnily enough when I looked back at the second car in line, what did I see.
You guessed it another young bird sitting with her head down sending a message on her phone too.

I couldn't believe it.

Needless to say the guy who was 3rd in line was goin off his tits.
By the time he hit the horn the light turned red again.
The chick at the front was still none the wiser and was still sending her message.

Had a nice cackle to myself as I moved off down the road.

Talk about no farkin idea.

Seriously how important can a text message be that you can't wait til you get home or where you're going.

And yes had I been closer to the car I would have given it a nice big slap on the roof to wake her up

I can't understand how people (usually girls in 206s/clios/kas) think that it is somehow more 'legal' to read and reply to a text message than it is to take a phone call.
