 |
|
Hi
Sorry last post ive decided to get cheaper gloves now and maybe in a few years upgrade then.
Basically i want a glove with knuckle and finger protection and am comparing:
https://customlids.co.uk/gloves.htm
RST Slide Glove
Short cuff leather and fabric glove for uncompromising comfort and protection. Carbon fibre knuckle and finger protection with single cuff closure for a secure and comfortable fit.
This costs £40
OR
https://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/hermes/shop/search?query=sp2&itemsPerGroup=100&Submit=Search+Now
Alpinestars SP2 Gloves but only because i can get them from jsaccesories for £50 only drawback being they're the 2006 not 2007 one, although 2006 version has finger protection so 2007 is out of the question, as it doesn't.
Or is the finger protection not very important?
Which of the above 2 is best for a budget glove with protection?
(or are there better from my local dealer www.customlids.co.uk
Thanks |

I went for a ride to Sydney yesterday with a mate for some gear sales and managed to pick up a leather jacket for $100aud down from $500. Bargain I tell ya.
Although it did make me wonder when I went looking at gloves and some over those were well over $250.
Sometimes I just don't see the cost in gear.
My advice is get the best pair you can afford for what looks like good vaule to do you for the time being then keep an eye on the shops for sales time.
Bargains are to be had. Being in the right place at the right time helps too
