Well, I did my DAS in December 2000, got a few DAS lesons in November last year (3 or 4 IIRC) and then sat my test, but failed,

I had a "refresher" yesterday morning, and sat/passed my test this morning, but I'd been kicking about on bikes in fields and um, the occasional road, for years before... the lessons were as much to unlearn bad habits, as learn correct skills...

well, got a few minors, mostly for going a bit slowly (35 in a 40, but it was pissing rain and last time I failed for speeding)

one minor for stopping a bit short at a give-way and another for running wide coming out of a junction, (which I did to avoid a dirty great diesel covered manhole cover, so I thought I was being safe)

on the whole, fine...
