my missus has just booked her CBT for next week, but i forgot to tell her to get her provisional license first (already has a full car license), can you get it over the counter at the DVLA?

How long has she had her car licence for? If it's only recent theres a possibility that she already has provisional bike entitlement.

If she's got a photo card have a look at the paper and see if A is listed under the provisional entitlements section.

nice one Davo the A is there on the provisional section, you just stopped me getting killed for not telling her to get her provisional!!
