Hi all,ok so the front is nearly fully rebuilt on my zx1000 for the second time but this time i am not using the ugly standard clocks which presents me with a few problems.
I have gone for fork clamps to house the new renthal bar, bought a snazzy little gizmo from ebay to cover all warning lights/indicators/neutral etc but still need to work out a fuel guage and more importantly a temperature guage.

Looked all over the place but cant seem to find much and im starting to pull my hair out Crying or Very sad

any ideas for me to mull over??

Banditmania is crap. Browse their site by all means but buy elsewhere. They certainly aren't cheap.

That is a rough online translation to english. Email the seller to ensure it's exactly what you want. 15 euros p&p to UK. Make sure your bike tank gauge will work with this model though. I believe they work on certain ohm readings, 110 and 550 (guesstimate but it's something like that).

I really could not tell you mate but I bought some Koso clocks recently and it would only work with specific ohm gauges. Confused I'll check my Koso manual tonight if I can find it and see what manufacturers use what Ohm rating. You'd want to visit the acewell website and see if it mentions anything about that. If not then you should be good to go. But I'm not 100% convinced that's all.

Originally my sv650 has 1 led that blinks when it goes onto it's 1st reserve setting and when it goes onto its second reserve setting, the LED stays on. The koso clocks I bought have a fuel 'gauge' so I hooked it up to the first reserve setting wire so that when it was activiated, the fuel gauge would just flash, like the LED would.

So is there nowhere where i could just buy a universal temp and fuel guage? (seperates like the speedo and tacho) that can just be wired up to the original wiring?

To be fair a fuel guage isnt the priority as i can always swill or dip the tank to guess it roughly but i cant guess what temp it's running at and am fairly worried about that so would prefer to keep it monitored.
