My speedo just stopped working :(

As I am new to bikes, could someone tell me what to look for?

Cheers

Speedo cable mate!
Happens ot us all - the good thing about it being broken is you can clock up some miles withou tputting on milage Wink

Easy job - you need to disconnect the speedo off the handlebars (unscrews easily) if you've got a centre stand, put the bike on it and put a weight on the back, then spin the front wheel, put your finger over the end of the speedo cable - if you can feel it turning then your cable hasn;t snapped and it's probably just full of gunk, in which case just fill the thing with WD or stuff like that.

If you can't feel it you need to replace the cable, they only cost a couple of pounds, easy job too.
