Harder = better for track right and cornering on the road

Softer = good for the crappy UK roads

right?

I've always wondered what rock solid ie concrete filled forks would be like? sick of darned fork oil leaks , (maybe lookie for a Hassock conversion)

Would it be ridable? Or would the bike shake itself apart after a few miles on the UK's negelected roads?

Any thoughts?

you would have very little grip on the uk roads. The tyres would leave the road over most of the bumps in the surface.
