This isn't about speeds or anything.

I've always gone for Suzukis over Yamaha because the bike itself is larger - ie - my GSXR600 is bigger than an R1.

How do Hondas' compare - ie - are they bigger than Yamahas or Suzukis or are Suzukis the larger of the lot???
Ta.

Well, the Honda VTX1800 is significantly larger than the GSXR600, but the CBR125 is a lot smaller than the M1800R. Wink

Have a look at the manufactures websites, it should give you the dimensions of the bikes somewhere

From my experience, when comparing bikes in the same genre, Hondas are more than a bit smaller than even the Yama's. I too purchased the GSX-R on account of it's slightly stretched ergo's versus the bicycle-like position of the Yamaha and the decidedly scrunched-up position of the CBR. Exactly which bike(s) are you looking at now?

I'd go for a Honda myself, purely on the grounds of build quality and reliability.

Go with what you want sit on them try and get some test rides etc.

With the main Japanese manufacturers at the moment (Honda,Suzuki and Kwack.) quality is all about equal. Mr. Green

Well thanks for the replies guys.

I've always had GSXRs - 600s.

As im paying a load for insirance as it was - i was looking at the 750.

However, i thought i'd look at CBR600RR o similar. It all depends on how much insurance is going to cost. (I've now had a 2nd bike 'written off' so that wont help) Confused
