DT125 coming off road, need some opinions.

So i bought a project DT125 2003.

The idea is to strip it down, give it a respray and use it off road, im probably going to leave the horn on and see if i can get a 'daytime MOT'.

I cant think of the best way to do this electric wise, should i completely strip the electrics and battery out or keep the battery in place and tape up the wiring and get it out of the way ?

Stripping it out means im going to have to learn how to do it but will make the bike a lot tidier.

Keeping the wiring is less hassle and it may be needed by a future owner one day.

What do you think ?
