Well it was bound to happen - my 3rd bike has been written off.

If it's taught me one thing - it's that i will get my car licence out of the way - so i booked the theory for that!

Now the decider - Do i get another bike and if so - what one?

The only saving grace is that my bike insurance was renewed last month and despite having no bike, any added costs wont be until next year. Confused

Harold_Shand's theory might be the best explanation.

I had an accident in November and the bike just appeared to have ''cosmetic'' damage.

When they came to repair it, they took it to bits and found a deeper problem (something to do with the frame and fuel tank bit) so it was declared a write off. Confused

I'm waiting to hear exactly what the problem was.

Reading your post sounds like it's your fault! So if you buy another bike you will have to take insurance and your insurance will definately go in UPWARDS direction!

Sounds like you need something that'll calm you down a bit! (Obviously I am assuming a lot.)

Might I suggest that you discover a new passion (if you havent already) for touring? But touring on something comfortable, original, and good looking.

Ladies and gentleman, I bring you the Caponord! (I want one badly) NB. I also want a Tuono R!

Just a thought....

Guess I'm having a serious bout of Aprilia!!! (So much more original than Ducati and the Japs.)

I don't think it was his fault, and he didn't get liability, did you freestyler?

I've got a thing for Milles at the moment, but I reckon a CBR600 or maybe a Blade would go down well. Very Happy

Correct. Razz

The guy will be prosecuted and i should get a payout too having lost a) the bike and b) been off work for the last month.

As i'm stuck in no mans land - ie - no bike and not passed car test, i didn't know what to do. Cool
