NEED HELP WITH PISTON RINGS! please help i cant do anything!

HI ALL

i got a new piston kit for my ns125, thing is that the 2 rings are different! 1 is black and the other is silver!

in my hanes manual it says there marked top and botom! but mine dont say anything on them anywere there just diffo colours!

any 1 know what way there ment to go??????

i begging to know!!! any help mega apreciated!!!!!!!!!!

see if one of the rings has a chamfered edge if so this is the top ring, with the chamfered edge facing up

Looking at the stack I have here, which are also silver and black, the silver have chamfered edges and are the top rings, and the black are the bottom rings - altho these are for a different engine.

thanks for your help! i think i got it right now!

i tryed them both ways and 1 span on the piston and the othere didnt! ur right silver was at the top!
