You've probably noticed the various abusive posts by this prat. Please ignore him and do not reply to anything he posts, threads he starts are being deleted and so are posts he makes in legitimate threads. If you ignore him he'll give up and get back to his schoolwork, people of his type are seeking attention to make up for other inadequacies Rolling Eyes

I'd also like your opinions, the forum is currently in basic security mode, there are two others; one which simply disables guest posting and another which will not let you create an account without a valid email address. Personally I'd like to keep the pub atmosphere, anybody's welcome but abusive prats get chucked out - but what do the rest of you think? (Especially the guest posters)

Once again, just ignore the current trolling tit and let me deal with him.

Yeah, I think that everything should stay as it is, except maybe their should be extra bouncers to keep everything under control...

It would be a shame if casual "guests" couldn't post...not everyone likes to register...

Korn, is it possible to let people register as a trial member, then if they prove to be responsible and human enough, accept them as a full member??? This way the good members among us know who is a decent person and who is still in the trial process, and it would also stop dickheads registering too, however it might be a lot of hassle.

Not sure on the Guest posting thing, but like Ebay it would encourage posting dodgy email addresses in registration and add people who only visit once to the memberlist, which may take up webspace??? I dunno???

I think it should stay as is aswell.
Its a shame you get the odd abusive kid on but one in a while doesn't really call for getting rid of all guests.
and i have to admit some of the replies are funny Laughing

Keep it as it is Kornel, for as long as ive been reading it, which is like i dont know a year and half or something, its always been an accomodating friendly forum. Making security restrictions may put people off.

Why not just move all his threads to the flame wars board?
Delete any of his posts from legit threads so we can carry on as normal.

u should keep it the way it is korm but like i asked u i think we should have a couple of moderators if you can so as soon as he posts we can delete them, i am more than willing to help you out there, i'm on quite alot. This way stupid posts can be deleted quickly and guests can still post.
