Good news Thames Water, Three Valleys Water, Southern Water and Sutton & East Surrey Water have all lifted their ban.

Cleaning bikes and cars is a lot simpler once again, time to break out the pressure washer and hose.

I haven't stopped using the hose pipe at all , But thanks for the heads up. I was begining to wonder why it was still imposed.

I was using my hose to clean my bike yesterday and was wondering that, (typically it rained the second i was done, but hey)

Yes. We're expected to not use any water because Thames Water's victorian lead pipes have more holes in them than the plot of Lost.

In a press conference Ian Ianson (CEO of Thames Water) said: "I'm sorry, we appear to have been inadvertantly irrigating the entire south east of England for the past year and now we don't have any water left."
