get a bottle of diet coke.

drink quarter of it.

drill a whole in the lid, big enough to fit string through.

tie as many mentos to the string as you like, and thread it through the bottle top (so the mentos go inside the bottle) just make sure they dont touch the coke.

put the lid back on and hold the string, so the mentos dont drop, then when your ready, drop the mentos in and point the bottle as someone close by.
