A guy I work with is always telling me about when him and his mates used to stick there scooters on the train down to London and cruise about for the day. I think this was in the days of the mods and rockers though.
Its probably a heath and saftey issue or some load of bollox now. ____________________ Yamaha FZR400RR 3tj

Half the fun of the trip in my opinion is the trek up! I'm quite looking forward to going from the lovely South of England, through the grim Northern areas to the lovely Scottish highlands about Glasgow! I'm really excited, just don't want my tyres to square off too much!!! ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Hi am from Glasgow and moved to Ullapool (north west coast, scottish highlands). The roads are great up here apart from the condition of them, get new tyres before you even plan on a journey up here. A few lads from Glasgow section came up and had to get new tyres on a Sunday as the roads riped them to bits.
Its great, you must go to applecross. ____________________ Current: 2019 Yamaha T7 -> 2015 KTM Superduke R | 2000 Yamaha R1 Past -> 2009 KTM 990 SM -> 2005 kawasaki ZX10r -> 2000 Honda CBR 600 FY -> 2002 Honda XLV 125 Varadero
