I'm going to strip and respray the wheels on my NS125R this weekend.
Was just wondering if anyone has any tips on the best way to go about doing this. Just bought some Hammerite metal paint remover which I was going to use, but then got told it would be better to just use 300 and 1200 grit paper to smooth the paint, then just spray over the top.
Any suggestions?!?!

Cheers

If you're going to be using the same colour paint it's probably best to sand the old paint into an undercoat - that way any chips or scratches won't be as bad.

Not too sure on the colour yet!
They are white at the moment but looking quite worn and chipped up so thought i'd treat them to a new coat.

The fairings red so need something that goes with that. Can't go wrong with white, but maybe should go for something a bit different.

Also thinking of putting some race rep stickers on, but don't really want to respray the fairing! Can't think of any racing Honda's that are red though...
