Bit of a random question,

Had full license (A2) bout 2 and half years now so obviously my 33bhp restriction is over. On the back of it theres the car part (passed that to), and the bike part with '<25kw' on it.

Now i know this dont apply anymore, just wandering do i need to change the photocard for one without this, or does it really not make any difference?

It doesn't make any difference, but you can send it off to get an updated one for tart factor. Don't know if you have to pay for that though.

IIRC adding or updating a category/entitlement is free.

When mine passed, they said it still sat there because it was the type of licence I had passed, it just ment the restriction wasn't still applicable.

Unless the DVLA decide to take the entitlement off completely.

Indeed. If you do send it off be sure to make a photocopy of all your documents, especially both sides of your photocard and attached paper document. The DVLA have a habit of losing various entitlements, although you may be lucky like some and have it come back with a tank license Laughing
