Following an unfortunate mishap in this thread: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=105254

Im looking for a replacement part for my Speed Four, its the part that the right hand mirror screws into, as shown in the following picture:

https://img181.imageshack.us/img181/3636/broke5if.th.jpg

Anyone have a clue what the part # is, or at least where I might find it?

The mirror itself is fine, I just need this part so it can be screwed in.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: Oh yea, and the bike is low on oil.
The only stuff I have around is 10w40 GTX Magnitec (Not sure about the Magnitec part, but its definatly GTX).
The service manual doesnt show what oil it was last changed to, would I be ok to top it up with the 10w40?

Looks like you could use any general purpose mirror/bar clamp (provided it's got the correct mirror thread)

...or, curiously, the mirror mount on the switchgear?

Yea I just read this a few moments ago, will have to check later.
Need to find out from the pervious owner what oil was used last.

Is there any problems with mixing semi-synthetic and fully synthetic together?

Just search for "mirror mount clamp" on any of the big bike-bit selling websites. Or local bike shop. Usually just a couple of quid.

But, really, why can't you use the one on the switchgear? Different thread?

Part number: T2025411 £11.72 + VAT. Any local bike dealer should be able to order one in, although if its a non-Triumph dealer then it might cost a bit more and take a few days.
