Ladies and gentleman, start your engines - Top Gear is back, and trust us, it’s been worth the wait.

On this week’s show Richard Hammond makes his triumphant return and talks us through his 288mph jet car shunt.

Jeremy drives Jaguar’s supercharged XKR, and compares it with its Aston Martin stablemate.

Jamie Oliver returns for another go at being a star in a reasonably priced car. But can he knock rival celebrity caterer Gordon Ramsay off the top spot?

And the presenters decide that the appalling state of British roads has become too much to bear, so they decide to take matters into their own hands and resurface a stretch of road themselves.

For preview - https://www.bbc.co.uk/topgear/show/nextepisode.shtml

The bit about the state of the British roads looks interesting, though I would argue roads generally are in a better state of repair now than they were say 10 years ago.
