I've used Fabsil in the past for reproofing, but it's not an anti fungal. Any mould can be cleared up with hydrogen peroxide.
Here's a handy "advertorial". ____________________ Current: CB500 Previous: CB100N, CB250RS, XJ900F, GT550, GPZ750R/1000RX, AJS M16, R100RT, Enfield Bullet

Wotcha.
Fabsil gets my vote too.
Works on my Khyam igloo and Lichfield Chalenger Five. ____________________ Cheers.

Not sure of any names or brands, but the parents were always rewaterproofing their tents and trailer tent with various sprays bought at Camping & General and other camping stores.
You apply in the dry (hopefully sunny ) and then let it dry and Bobs your uncle until next year. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

I used the Fabsil liquid that you stick in the washing machine. It worked a treat cleaning and waterproofing my berghaus jacket. ____________________ Avast! Pirates ahoy!

Nikwax is great for textile bike jackets, tents etc. Great stuff. Can be had from camping stores and most bike stores. Failing that Hein Gericke's own brand textile cleaner should do just as good a job.

soak it in used engine oil, and leave it out to dry on a washing line*
*I have no idea if this will work, I just got in from the pub a short while ago, and my dartboard just fell off the wall too. |

I don't know exactly what's in Nikwax, but be warned . . . dogs love it. You can spend twenty minutes Nikwaxing your leather strides, and the pub dog will then spend two hours licking the stuff off 'em.
Trust me on this - been there, done that. ____________________ Cheers.

Nikwax is good stuff. If it's a decent grade of canvas, and you have some patience then I'd also recommend the older beeswax/turps(NON mineral!) method, see THIS LINK for more info. It's pretty close to the method I used to use on a plain canvas tent, as long is it's a good thickness and done once every year or so then it works a charm. Another trick I was given, although I'll admit to never using it, is a good quality (ie non-petrol/oil based) clear shoe polish on the inside of the flysheet. Takes a while to brush it in apparently, and can also be a little prone to cracking if the tent is folded hard but isn't too bad if it's rolled. Watched something that had apparently been treated like that survive comfortably over a three day torrential downpour. ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |

When I had a trailer tent a few years back we used brick/masonry sealer which worked just as well as fabsil.

Word of advice from the voice of experience. Don't leave the empty bottle lying around, decide to refill it with soapy water for cleaning paint spills, then 6 months later, try to waterproof your new cordura trousers with soapy water before going to Oulton in a monsoon. Then find out you have no change of trousers and have to borrow a pair of shorts off a mate who is two sizes smaller. ____________________ It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. |

fabsil is silicone based, which is completely wrong for the canvas/cotton tent that Stinkwheel is talking about.
The other downside of Silicone based treatments, is that the silicone never completely 'dries' meaning it can attract dirt, and actually increase wear/degradation of the fabrics, as the dirt particles rub away at the fabrics. As a result, Fabsil proofed tents should be washed and re-proofed more often.
the Nikwax products which don't use silicone based waterproofers are much better.
