well for the forks, maybe the springs are stiffer than standard? or they have been modified in some way? also does your bike have one of them anti dive systems? does that function properly? for stuff in tank get a magnet and tie a bit of string to it and go fishing ____________________ 2nd time around CBT: 8/9/11

your anti dive isnt just blanked off is it? if it is your forks will be super damped all the time. you need to have passageways for the fork oil to pass through in your blanking plates if you have removed the existing anti dive system. ____________________ Bluespark Automotive - Diesel Tuning for Performance and Economy |

Hey,
I measured the level of oil in the forks when they where compressed, as per the data sheet. The forks are still far to solid though. I try to push them down and they move prehaps 1cm then do not return.
When i rebuilt them and they had no oil or blanking plates the forks did move freely and return. So the problem is not with the rebuilding
Cheers,
Shaun. |
