Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

a machine that tells you you cant drive.
have you got no mates ?
mates will tell you how shit you went round track x.
mates do it for free and may even buy a pint or twenty

Hi

Sorry for the delay, didn't see this thread.

Yes I have one. Yes it does work and can give you lap times and the like, along with acceleration times. Can map it out as well.

The performance box is a cut down version of the drift box. Not sure what they have removed (maybe the G meters).

It seems to be pretty accurate and responds very quickly drive under a bridge and it often pops up that the satellites are obscured). Far quicker responding than a normal GPS unit.

Down side is that mine broke down. Sent it back and they fixed it, but it has done exactly the same again. Sending it back again. They are helpful and friendly, and I am not worried about it being sorted properly. It is still recording the logs, just not displaying anything.

You can mount it on a bike. The suckers will stick to the inside of the screen although I would be tempted to gaffer tape / cable tie it in place as well. It should work under the seat if needs be (and that is a bit more subtle for track days, where you shouldn't be recording lap times), and if needs be use an external arial.

By the way, the battery connector seems to be the standard radio control car charger connecter, also used on Optimates and the like. However they seem to be wired the opposite way round.

All the best

Keith

Pity you missed the Autosport show as they were selling them at a show price with a fair discount.

Oh, and https://www.200mph.net hold there top speed runs at Woodbridge near you. Its what I have got the driftbox for.

All the best

Keith

Not exciting to watch, but fun to try, seeing if you can squeeze the last mph from it.

A fairly small picture, but a large file, taken just after the timing lights. 2nd bike is me on the Bimota, managing about 170.
