Is there any way to tell if my bike's suspension is a bit worn out?

It's only done about 12 or 13k miles over a year but that has been for pleasure so Sunday blats with a couple of track days thrown in. I expect the shock and forks are fine but they won't be at top performance forever and their degradation in performance won't be easy to spot as it's very gradual over a period of time.

How long would you expect the forks and shock to be working well before they need attention. Like I say, I've not noticed that they need looking at, but would like to know the signs when they show.

Cheers.

I'm not really sure about suspensions and stuff, but I have heard that many can last for over about 20k miles.

The front ones tend to last even longer.

At 10k they are only worn in and it depends on the bike and the roads you
drive on.The main roads in england get salt on them to stop ice and this is
bad for the most of the bike.
Just change the oil and see what it looks like.

Paddy.
