Anyone use them or had one ?

I bought this one, it's a Force RR. The ticket on the visor shows £109.99, I got it for £15.01. Laughing

I have the same one although in a different design, nice helmet all round, a little bit noisy and fogs up a tad (might just be me though) watch the little cheek vents, they catch on jackets/glove etc..

cheers

leigh Very Happy

Yes it was ebay, from a dealer in Somerset. I was looking for a new helmet and thought I'd give it a go. If it wasn't a great fit then at £15 I'd have nothing too much to complain about. But it's nice.
Only got it today so havn't tried it on the bike yet so I'll see how it performs then.

I once had a KBC AR1 Lid, it was heavy and had most of it's weight rear biased so whenever i was riding, i used to get neck aches. It did look cool though, but for their then Top spec lid, i was expecting a little bit more.

But thier new stuff is nice. Their liner is soft and cool and they're improving their designs, much like HJC are.

I've got the same one but in red/blue/white:

It's good value for money, however the vents just don't work. At all. Having them all open and then having them all shut makes absolutely no difference Laughing

Like bunglehaze said, watch out for the side 'vents': I've lost count of the amount of times I've nearly ripped them off.

I had a KBC VR-2 I think it was. Didn't fit me too well because I have a round forehead. Not too bad for its price though.

Yep got the one below and I find it super plush inside.
Nice and soft. Really like the fit and no noisier than anything else Ive had.

I do agree that fogging is a bit of an issue.
So will be grabbing a fog mask or something for cooler weather.

As for the vent. I dont think Ive ever had a helmet that I was satisfied with in this area. So they're ok I guess.

I've had both the VR1 and VR2 models from KBC and while I loved the VR1, the newer VR2 was a much poorer fit in the same size and was twice as noisy as the already painfully loud VR1. Can't fault them at the price, though and the VR2 Mladin Laguna rep. was absolutely stunning in person.

You're letting me down guys! C'mon! Wink

I think over the years most people on here believe that it's fit rather than price that it's down too. Saying that as I said earlier the lid was over £100 rrp so although it was cheap to me it's no that cheap a lid.

i forgot - one problem with my helmet - my foggy mask wouldn't velcro in like it did with my AGV - the lining in the KBC must be too nice

i picked up a kbc force rr helmet (in Honda CBR600RR colour scheme, shame I don't have the matching bike Smile ) and after taking out the breath guard (which pressed on my nose) and sticking in a light reactive Fog city insert, It's a cracking lid for the price. (£105).

It used to fog up a bit but the insert cleared that no probs. Smile
