Ok, im going to wash me bike 2mo, i was wondering if my air filter would need cleaning, ive had it for like 4 months without cleaning it, and ive never had a Foam air filter like this one, so im not sure. Also what should i do when cleaning it, like how do i clean it?. Sorry for my noobness just want to make sure. Thanks.

take it off, soak it in petrol, that's what i do with mine.

That is a good way to clean it, when I did mine I did rinse it out in water and dry it before putting it back in.

yeah use a bit of petrol to get the grease off then can wash it in soapy water. then you should realy out some airfilter grease on it to stop dirt getting through when putting it back on
