I'm up to 5 at the moment, would have been more but for a long spell away from biking in the wilderness.

The question is, I know people who say they've had more than 30 bikes, but are they exaggerating?

35 years of riding and about 25 bikes. Some of them were just piles of spare parts that were allegedly capable of being bolted into one piece, some were dogs I blew up on the first ride.

Especially the ones that threw you off!

My mate (who is 73 and still can ride from Manchester to Brighton in the rain) has owned over 100 bikes and 300 cars.
Hard as nails.

Quite a few. I doubt I could remember them all but it's gotta be more than 30.

Im on my 4th bike now and ive been riding a year and a half

First bike was a 96' gpz500s which i kept for about 9 months before i traded it in for a lovely 03' Hornet. Kept that for 6 months before i stupidly traded it in for an 04' CCM 644 dualsport Supermoto. Kept that for only 6 weeks as the build quality was absolutly shite and the electrics were playing up. Got conned by the dealer i bought it from and ended up loosing a grand in those 6 weeks. Mad
Its all good now though as i traded the CCM for a great condition 99' zx6r which i have had now since September. I feel much more suited to riding a sportsbike. I will probably keep this bike for at least another year before i upgrade to something like a gsxr 750.
