I'm not sure if this is the exact same petition posted here some weeks ago but...

My original reason for buying a motobike was solitude. I reserve the right to ride my motorcycle into the beautiful Welsh hills, just behind where I live, for the purpose of enjoyment and to have solitude.

sol·i·tude (sl-td, -tyd)
n.
1. The state or quality of being alone or remote from others.
2. A lonely or secluded place.

Tony can stick his tracker device up his arse.

i have a feeling that if they introduced trackers, i would not get round to getting one, and it would fall off if i did.

First I've heard of it, and it's a disgusting idea. Truly another step towards some kind of fantasy police-state. Another one of Tony's wet dreams coming to reality.

Soon as the chance arises, I am immigrating. 'nuff said.

I also think, what was said to me recently applies to most scenerios which was "The customer will go blue in the face before his switches supplier".

For the umpteenth time it is nothing more than a 'proposal'

Every government does this from time to time.
It will never happen.
It is simply a way of introducing something far more reasonable later on,
and everyone goes 'Phew'

So, let me get this right.
You don't want Big Brother (the Orwell version, not channel 4s) knowing your every move. In order to do this you put your name on a petition run by the government (aka Big Brother) on it's No. 10 site (aka where Big Brother's head man lives). Hmmm, conspiracy theory about MI5 files anyone? Thinking

Yeh, but with international trade pacts and bodies such as the EU, it's only a matter of time before stuff like this spreads.

The best thing to do is vote out those nitwits we have in government.

Or do what the farmers did to protest in Italy and spray manure all over the motorways around the city! Hehe....

It may be, but have you seen the other petitions on there?

Well, like old Winston said (see my pic)....

"Democracy is a terrible way to govern a country, but it is far better than all the alternatives"

I'm paraphrasing, but words to that effect.....

Heh - I think u misunderstood. I am 100% democracy.
I just don't think that currently there is any better alterantive to what we have.

Certainly wouldn't want the tory lot back.

(Although I'll be a Swedish citizen in 6 weeks anyway (but retain my vote Smile)

You'd have to get one if they were required by law and without it the insurance cover was invalid etc etc.
If they want it they have endless sneaky was of getting it in.
"consultation periods" (but ignore comments that aren't in favour)
"Limited trials" (declare trial was a resounding success with problems)

Just look as an example daytime lights, which were continually proposed but could not be got through after much lobbying by riders groups against compulsary use - but lo and behold a few years later all new bikes have headlights you can't turn off as standard anyway.

I don't have to get anything. It's up to the people whether or not they're going to bend over and let the nazi fucks get away with it. All we have to do is refuse to have them fitted, what are they going to do? Arrest us all?

That was up to the manufacturers. It's still legal to fit a switch if you wish and I believe on most bikes they've left a space for one.

According to your profile, you live in Berkshire - not much point in 'immigrating' to the UK as you already live here.
Perhaps you meant 'emigrating'??

Just for reference:
immigrant [ˈimigrənt] noun, adjective
(a person) who has come into a foreign country to live there permanently, not as a tourist or visitor

emigrant
noun
someone who leaves one country to settle in another

Pedantic Police are out on patrol...yeeehaaaa!!
