BBC are to make a documentary about the C-word.

https://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds41715.html

I have noticed more and more people use it in the mainstream language nowadays, but probably does remain the only word in the language that can stop someone in their tracks or has the shock ability factor.

It seems to be a very english thing to be offended by the C word (I'm assuming you mean cunt).

Up north it gets thrown about far more liberally with little or no offense.

It probably offends the shandy-drinking southern softies because they rarely get to see one, only act like one.

The most liberally I have heard it used is in Catholic Southern Ireland.

To be sat having a brew with my mate and hear her mild-mannered uncle casually say 'Ah that cunt at the cunting pub has only gone and bought a new cunting car' was both surreal and hilarious.

Seems to be everyday language there.

My view, it's just a word. How anyone can decide that a word, no matter which context it's used in, can be hideously offensive, is beyond me. Get the cunt onto the TV, i say... Laughing

your 300% right! Loads of people moan if i call them one and girls bang on about how its such a vile word. My arguement is, how is it any different from any other four letter swear word, or any swear word for that matter? I think because people find so offensive theres even more inscentive for me to use it!

Maybe this documentary will reveal why its so cunting bad

lots of cunting love

I find the word 'bloody' used far too much on BBC radio these days.

IMO its un-needed.

As in ... GET OUT OF THE CONTING PUB AND INTO THAT CONTING CHORCH, YOU FOCKING CONT, ITS CONTING SUNDAY!

Accompanied by sounds of mildmannered Irish blokes with severe hangovers being dragged by the ears by their potato-faced Irish wifeys into Chorch.
