'Man Flu' was dreamt up by media nobs to sell their cheesey product.

Just like how in a lot of adverts, it's the woman taking the piss out of the man, yet you never see it the other way around.

when I was a kid, I had flu, my parents thought I was mallingering, and dragged me down to the doctors, who declared not only was I ill, he was suprised I could stand up, and made them take me home ina taxi.

People seem to think a bad cold is "Flu". I thaught that is where "man Flu" came from?

As blokes make a cold out to be life threatening.
