if you dont already buy ride every single month, WHY THE HELL NOT

but i thought this latest issue was great, good few hours of stuff to get through

plus a great guide on helmets

well worth you 3.10

just a note to say its a wicked mag

and also, it reviewed the XLR125 VARADERO

top speed = 70 so there you have it, its slow

I read PB, bike and MCN. PB is like a biking version of max power, bike is a bit more sensible and I buy MCN for the news and motorsport stuff

thanks a lot man, i was feeling very along there

i tried buying every bike magazine for a while, but i got bored of reading the same bike reviews so now i prefer to stick to just a few

T.W.O
RiDe
superbike or bike sometimes
and MCN the news one, if ive got some time to kill at a train station or something

but i will buy any if i really need to read something

wasnt too impressed with PB, but there you go

it was ages ago when i bought one, i knew nothing about bikes then

u normally read

RiDe
T.W.O
Performance Bikes

I buy the others coz there's bugger all to do where i work so reading reviews of the same bike 5 times over is the only way to stay sane.

SUPERBIKE MAGAZINES IS BETTER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

there stats are always accurate because they test the bikes them selves and dont jus take the manufacturrers word for it, also it seems every month there recking a new bike lol this month, 1 of them was wheelying a spanking new gsxr600 and he went to far and scraped the tail light and fairing assembly on the ground.... OUCHHH££££££££ and a guy called "big dave" put a spanking new r1 on the back wheel at about 60mph and lost control compleatly destroying the bike.

ohhhhh last month at the catalunya race track they wrecked a sp2 lol

I buy TWO
I read Bike cos my uncle got me a subscription for my birthday
and I read MCN after my Dad's finished with it.

I like TWO the best, but Bike seems the most useful/informative and MCN is good for keeping up to date.

You cant expect most bike mags to be accurate on performance figures, as they dont test every bike in a scientific way for each machine in every issue. Mags like Ride, Bike and some of the others just go on indicated speeds, (often way out) or they estimate performance which is just as bad. MCN always test bikes at Bruntingthorpe with data loggers, and radar speed guns etc, as well as on the Dyno. Their figures seem to be the most accurate, and ill belive them when they say that my ZX6R does a true 168, as im not likely to be able to verify that myself, well not round here anyhow. I do read/buy Ride quite often, as they do alot of excellent product/gear tests, and other stuff like Dealer watch, and the rider power survey. I sumtimes buy Superbike if i wanna read somthing silly, but i dont rate PB or Fastbikes as much as i used to a few years back! UBG has some good stories innit, especially the ones about RD350LC's with 8 previous owners! I sumtimes read another mag, but im not saying what it is on here!

I recently bought a copy of Streetfighter magazine, mainly due to the fact I love streetfighters and want one when I have a job and am getting a decent wage, but they're just so expensive.

Take this for example....my uncle just bought a brand new GSX-1400 and is streetfightering it......getting some ZX9 upside down forks, straight renthal bars, all the anodised bits, the oil coolant cover with GSX-1400 engraved, and a full 4 into 1 Akrapovic race system.....the system was over £700 alone!!

I use plugs all the time on my NSR to drown out wind noise, the engine noise is not so bad but when you are going 70mph or faster on a few miles of road it can be a bit more comfortable with them in.
