Hi

RS125 with 34mm carb (standard) manages 55mpg in normal use (dont use it much round town). Cagiva Freccia is a good 10mpg down on that. For comparison I get 45mpg out of the 1200 Bandit and about 30~40mpg out of the Bimota.

Oh, during the petrol strike I managed to get 74.5mpg out of the Aprilia. Not worth it though, as it was a pain to ride at those speeds, and vibrated a couple of fairing bolts loose, along with the battery positive terminal!

All the best

Keith

My (partially restricted) NSR did 80mpg... the NSR seems to be a bit better than other 125 2strokes.

No, fill up with petrol and reset the trip / make a note of the mileage. Then next time you fill up the amount you put in will be the amount you have used and you can work out the number of miles you have done.

All the best

Im lucky to get 30MPG out of mine, but then again its very enjoyable riding and is worth the extra poke on petrol. I think the K&N was the worst thing for fuel consumption. When i fitted it and finally got jets right my Mpg seemed to halve, maybe that was due to how i rode it though Confused

My old KMX200 did 40-42mpg which aint too bad for a 200cc stroker. Its funny though that i have now got a bike three times the size, and its still much better on fuel than the KMX. I get an average of 58mpg from my zx6r, and with the lowest i have seen is 53mpg! The best was when i was running in i managed 64mpg once.
