Yesterday there was a mini-BCF outing (Me, Annabella, Shaun, TheShaggyDA, and Willow) to Dudley Zoo, mainly just to clear our hangovers.

I went with my g/f a couple of years back, I was a bit shocked at the place, it really does need a face lift. There was a load of inner city scool kids there on a trip at the same time as us and they were the most obnoxious kids I've ever seen. There was a gang of about 10 of em throwing coins at the bears while the teacher just stood there looking bored.
Did you visit the cafe, We did. We had "surprise" sandwiches.
First were were surprised at how expensive they were, then we were further surprised as the fillings were not what the packaging said. Laughing

They actually now have funding to do some work to the zoo, but it is looking better than it has in the past. In this instance, I think we were the obnoxious kids annoying everyone Laughing

Very nice photographs, what camera were they taken on?

I went to Dudley Zoo with Alex as part of my jam packed birthday, in 2005 I think. I remember thinking the animals needed more room and the Zoo generally needed a face lift but I enjoyed it [despite the damp weather!] I found it amusing watching the Chimps picking their noses and steeling each others straw. Laughing

Just like people...

Would love ther go there in nice weather like this and some other parks. Looks like a good day out. Thumbs Up

It took them to Dudley Zoo, she lives in West Bromwich...

there is one at chester zoo and you walk through it with huge fruit bats flying past your head.
